RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR THE MISS RIDE FOR LIFE CONTEST

Registration rules:

Registration for the Miss Ride for Life contest is free.
Candidates must be 19 years of age or older.
Candidates with professional dancing background or dancing of any kind in clubs detaining an exotic liquor licence are not eligible. (Strictly reserved for amateurs.)
Candidates will not participate in any other similar contest while she is a Miss Ride for Life candidate. Doing so will mean disqualification.
Candidates must register for the Miss Ride for Life contest on our website.
The candidate must submit two pictures (face and full frontal), along with the registration. You can send your own (jpeg format) or have a professional photographer send them in.
Note: The committee proposes Marc Boucher of Digiphoto, official photographer of the Miss Ride for Life calendar. Cost is $10.00 and the studio forwards us the pictures.
Each candidate must represent a sponsor.
Sponsors will receive a kit containing posters, pamphlets, promotion articles and 25 tickets for a bike draw of two Harley-Davidson worth $35,000.00.
Sponsors do not have to contribute financially to the contest or their candidate.
Sponsors will be responsible to sell the 25 tickets at $60.00 each included in the kit.
The candidate will be responsible for her costumes, music CD’s for the show and her traveling expenses.
The candidate must not ask her sponsor for monetary help.
Note: The committee can help candidate who cannot find a sponsor but will only help those who tried. The Ride for Life committee does not guarantee a sponsor to any one.


Activity Rules:

Have a positive attitude….No bickering!
Candidates must arrive at least 30 minutes before the activity starts.
The candidate is responsible to have in her possession all she needs for her show: costumes, accessories, music cd’s etc…
The candidate will do two shows: 3 minutes each, on the music of her choice.
First show: leather costume – Second show: free style.
The candidate will also answer a surprise question.
No nudity allowed, at any time.
G-strings are of bad taste durind the Miss Ride for Life contest.


Rules for public voting:

The following 6 days of the preliminary competition, the public will vote for their favourite candidates on our web site: www.rideforlife.com.
The three candidates having the most votes after the 6 days voting following the preliminaries will be qualified for the semi-finals.
All voters must register to the Ride for Life website to vote.
Multiple votes attempt will be archived, and will not count in the vote total. You can only vote once per day.
Every fraud activity, hacking, multiple voting of any kind on the Ride for Life website in order to accentuate a candidate’s votes during the contest will be investigated by the webmaster. The candidate will be disqualified if any fraud is discovered.


Tips and suggestions for the candidate:

The theme of the contest is the biker sport, its fans and the lifestyle.
Take the time to answer all questions on the registration form seriously. The answers that you give will be part of your personal profile, which the public will be able to read on our website before voting.
The pictures that you provide will also be part of your profile so be sure that they show you at your best. A professional photographer is recommended.
Organize voting groups or ask your family to help you recruit other people to vote for you during the public voting.
Make a list of all the articles you will need for you presentations on stage.
Ask a friend for help get ready for the competition on stage.
Choose your outfits with a biker theme.
Consider Rock music instead of Pop, Rap, etc…
Prepare and rehearse a detailed performance for your stage shows.
Work on your physical appearance, your presentation on stage depends on it.
Keep smiling on stage.
